Trouble with TypePad...sometimes

My connection is sometimes to weak at home to access my TypePad account. That is why you should visit this shadow blog of five years www.tampataxishots.info This is on Blogger and I have no problems with it. I  have kept this blog since 2007 and it has much of the material that this blog has. Blogger is constanly updating its features. Sadly, Typepad does not. 

Godaddy offered me the URL above of www.tampataxishots.info for only 69 cents with an email. How do you turn that down?

When I can't afford to pay for this blog and it is down for a week or two, go to the 'info' blog and you can keep up. Thanks for your understanding.

Tampa Blogs

People often ask the taxi drivers questions. They want to know what time you started your shift, how long you have been driving a taxi and what is the most interesting thing that has ever happened while driving a taxi. I do not know if they think it is a romantic adventure, but they sure seem to romanticize cab driving. 

People always enjoyed my stories, and they were not hard to think of. Just about every day something happens that probably does not happen to the average Joe. Where else can you go from taking a physicist downtown to a Relativity conference and five minutes later picking up an urban drug dealer? Stimulation occurs all day long.

Cab drivers also like stories. When we would sit on stands waiting for the next call, we would tell the other drivers what happened on the last call, or the one yesterday that everyone had heard about. You would think this was just about taking people from point A to point B, but it is not. It is much more than that. 

Often, people would suggest that I write a book about all that. Most people seem to have seen the HBO show Taxi Cab Confessions and think that is what happens to cab drivers. Yes. That is what happens to most cab drivers. 

I had thought about doing a book, but never really knew how to approach the task. In the last twenty years, I had written nothing more complex then a grocery list. Then I heard about something that seemed exciting. 

In 2005 a new phenomena was taking off on the internet called web logs - commonly called blogs. At that time, these online journals were growing exponentially in just a few short months. In addition, cool software was available to the average person, so anyone could start a blog. 

I never thought what I did was very important but starting a blog would allow me to communicate even the most trivial of things instantly to anyone on the web. I came up with a name called Tampa Taxi Shots.

Originality is important to me and I did not want to copy what someone else was doing. The concept of taxi driving experiences was now going to hit the web and I was hoping people would visit my blog. I was correct on that.

There was a growing online community of local Tampa Bloggers. They were growing in numbers and putting out great content. They were reporting on local matters ignored by local newspapers. The St. Pete Times began to notice. 

They did an article in TBT about the local blogging scene. In fact, that article inspired me to get into this. It validated that anyone with a keyboard could get started. In fact, I still have that TBT. 

Unfortunately, many of the blogs profiled in that article are not published anymore. Sticks Of Fire was the biggest casualty. I guess life moves on and people move on.

Blogs are now a source of information that we can access anywhere, even on mobile devices. There is no telling how many there are now. 

I know that I miss some of the early ones. I kind of wish they would come back.

 

Staying With Typepad For My Blog Service

I am finished playing around and have decided to stay with the server I've had for the last six years. My new banner proclaims "Since 2005." I remember when I started, back in the glory days of the Tampa Blogging scene. Blogs were new and they began to pop up everywhere. The beauty of blogging is that anyone can blog about anything. The top blog back then was "Sticks Of Fire" run by Tommy Dunken. He has stopped his blog after he got tired of it I guess. I think I must be one the survivors. Oh well, what else is there to do when I get home.

Angela Marie Finger: Model Missing From Las Vegas Could Be In Danger

Angela Marie Finger disappeared from Las Vegas In June of 2006.  She left behind a good job as a cage supervisor at the Mote Carlo Casino on the Vegas strip. She was young, beautiful, and her family misses her dearly. She may have been pulled into a life of internet porn, and possible human trafficking. She is considered a MISSING PERSON: ENDANGERED by the FBI. I photographed Angela in Phoenix at the Arizona Shootout (Arizona Model Photo Shoot) one year after she was missing. I was not aware of her status at the time.

Angela Finger was coerced into leaving her job at the Monte Carlo Casino in Las Vegas during June of 2006. She had met a man on the internet through MySpace, who represented himself as someone he was not. Angela soon moved out of her condo in Vegas(furniture removed, electric cut off, phone discontected) and ran off with this man.

I received emails from Angela when I was setting up personal model sessions for the Arizona shootout of 2007, she contacted me with condolences about the passing of my girlfriend. She told me how sorry she was and that she would like to meet with me.

I met with her and her "husband" when I arrived and she let me take photos of her on Saturday and Sunday of the shootout. Angela told me she was a Phoenix model named "Angel the model." She signed the model release as "Angela Raether." That was not her name, but the alias last name of the man that was controlling her. His real name wasWILLIAM MATTHEW SMOLICH. He is wanted in several States for failure to register as a sexual offender.

Angela may be in danger. She has been on many porn sights that have been taken down since Smolich found out her parents were looking for her. He was pimping her out for imcome. If you were, or have been, associated with the Arizona Shootout in Phoenix circa 2007 and may know this girl, please come forward with information

A Nevada mother turns to YouTube to locate her missing daughter.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Michelle and Patrick Finger say they aren't going to stop trying to locate their daughter. She became involved with a man who turns out to be a wanted, convicted pedophile. Sadly, the only sight they catch of her now shows up on Internet porno sites.

Michelle Finger says that two years ago, her daughter Angela worked at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas as a cage cashier, which was looked at as a solid job that had already brought her two promotions.

"She worked there for a little under 2 years. She was bright and sweet, and was very close to her family. That all changed in a heartbeat."

She says that through MySpace, two days before Mothers day 2006, her daughter met a man who said his name was Craig Raether. He said he was 27, and that his parents were killed by a drunk driver. His story didn't add up for Angela's parents, but she was interested and they seemed to have little impact on her decision to begin spending time around the man who used the name Craig Raether

It wasn't long according to Michelle, before Angela began acting odd. "She started dressing like a street girl, and acted rude to us all the time. We were fighting a lot. Fathers day came, and she took her dad out to eat, and bowling. We started talking about her brother's upcoming wedding, and I told her we would take her, I didn't want Craig there. Thats the last time I saw her. They left shortly after that not to be seen or heard from for the next year."

Angela Finger's parents said it made them crazy, and they began digging up whatever information they could. They learned that the man had a shady past and that much of what he had told them was not true. Then at the age of 46, Angela Finger's mother Michelle had a heart attack.

"I came home from the hospital more determined than ever. I put up a fake myspace with his picture, and the words 'have you seen me?' I also put his picture on classmates.com, hoping to get a hit."

She also wrote to Craig Raether on Classmates, urging that he get in contact with her. She says that three weeks later she received a reply from the REAL Craig Raether.

"He had looked me up after my email on classmates, and wrote me. He told me that the guy with my daughter and impersonating him was a childhood friend named William Smolich. I was floored, but, I did know something was off from the begining."

She says that over the next two days, they combed the Internet and found porno sites with their daughter, and movies starring her.

"I was devastated. In the weeks that followed, we called the Boulder police, who are useless, and said if I was going to keep investigating to let them know, so they wouldn't waste their time, he is wanted there."

She says she does hold the Boulder City cops responsible for this, at least in part. "He is a sexual predator they let out to do this to our family, and we want our daughter home. As of the last week, I have heard nothing, but, found more sites where she is the pin up girl. Any and all help would be so greatly appreciated! If ANYONE has any private suggestions that could help, or any questions, please let me know."

William Matthew Smolich, who also uses the name Shawn Odow and several others, is 39-years old. He stands five foot eleven and weighs approximately 195 pounds. Smolich is a white male with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Police urges anyone who sees William Matthew Smolich to call 911 and not try to apprehend this individual yourself.

His prior convictions requiring registration are Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a position of trust (F4); and Sexual Contact-no consent (M1). If you have information regarding this individual contact the Boulder County Sheriff Office at (303) 441-4444. You can also contact the FBI at 702 636-5033.

The United taxi drivers knew that I was good in front of cameras and wanted me to represent them to the various media that came to the taxi protest. I did my best. This was a serious matter about a real labor strike.  Rob Searcy (The new United Cab manager) said for everyone with an issue, to come in and see him in his office.  I did, and it was more than satisfactory. He gave me compensation and assurance.  Things were going to get much better, and the drivers are going to make more money.  Searcy solved my 'labor strike.'

What Ever Happened To Tommy Duncan and Sticks of Fire Blog?

I ran into Tommy Duncan Friday at Sweetbay supermarket in the pasta section.  I was very glad to meet him again since I have not seen him since the blogger meeting at Wings Gone Wild on Bay To Bay about three years ago.  

In case you did not know, the Sticks Of Fire blog is down.  It was once the biggest blog in Tampa and two years in a row voted by Creative Loafing magazine as the best blog in the Bay.  Tommy was the owner of that blog.  I asked him what happened. Many things got in the way. 

The economy has not only affected cab drivers, it has affected normal people, as well.  Tommy, and his associates, went into survival mode when the economy went south, and Sticks Of Fire suffered as well (I would leave a link, but Norton says it is infected with Malware).  Sticks of Fire is no more.  That is a total mind freak to me. 

Tommy is now working on a new project.  He is the regional editor of a sports blog called SBnationtampabay.com.  He goes by the name of Gregg Burrage.  The site is awsome, and I hope he does well. 

It is always a reality check when you hit in the face of how life moves on for everyone. The irony is weather you are ready or not - it will. 

Tommy still has his rock band the Johnny G Lyon Band featuring Tommy Duncan, and they seem to be still putting out hot music. 

 

Tampa Taxi Shots Is Back

Sometimes you are what you are - ike the Tampa Bay Bucs going back to the Tampa 2 defense. Why not? If half the NFL uses it, at least Tampa should. My blog has been titled Tampa Taxi Shots for almost six years. I recently went with a title "Tropic Of Tampa." I was worried about just being out there as a cab driver and wanted to go into other areas. This really did not work. Many Google searchers were looking for Tampa Taxi shots and wondering what had happened to it. Wonder no more. 

A New Direction

 We live in politically correct and intolerant times. Things you could do, even a few short years ago, are no more. People are being fired from their jobs for what they post on the internet. 

In light of this, I have reevaluated what I am doing and have changed my format. This blog will now be known as "Tropical Breeze." I have taken my About Me link off of this blog, and deleted some post that might put me in hot water or cast the company I contract with look bad. 

In the future, there will be no reference to what I do for a living or of any of the companies in the industry. It is too bad that we live now under such Bolshevik rules. This is now a personal blog about the places I go and the things I see. 

Sorry it had to come to this. I still hope you enjoy this blog.

Is Dontae Rashawn Morris A Runaway Slave?

The Florida Sentinel Bulletin thinks so. The Tampa black newspaper the Florida Sentinel Bulletin had an editorial today that hinted that Dontae Rashawn Morris may be a runaway slave. The article was by "The Sole-Man Speaks" and his logic was that every city in the south, including Tampa, has an area of town that most white folks never go into. In Florida it is called the Black Bottom. The best of the best, and the worst of the worst will risefrom these blighted neighborhoods. Unfortunately, it is usually the worst.

Dontae Rashawn Morris was raised in Jacksonville Florida in the worst black bottom there is. He is now suspected of killing two Tampa police officers. The Sentinel cited the incident in Polk County a few years ago when a black man killed a white police officer, and when he was arrested he was shot 68 times by the cops to the point that his body was not recognizable as a human being. That was wrong, but I think it had more to do with the rage of the police and the actions of the suspect himself. Somehow he was innocent in the Sentinels mind.

They say that black fathers are cautioning their sons not to be out at night because they may be killed by the Tampa Police. Fist of all, 70% of all black boys do not have fathers active in their lives, and the police are only looking for Dontae Rashawn Morris. Are you people still slaves? Is that what you really want to be? The last I checked the President of the Untied States and the Attorney General were black. They seem to be doing fine living in this racist country. Are we still living in "Mississippi Burning?"

The Sentinel writes:

"...Dontae Morris is Black. The officers he reputedly shot are white. Not that it matters, but somewhere down the craggy, putrid road of American History, it matters, dearly"

The only thing putrid is Mr. Morris. Clean up your own acts before you start blaming this on the Tampa Police you bastards.

"Our condolences go out to the slain officers' families. Our sadness embraces the accused assailants's mother and father. Our heart breaks to consider that we HAVE STILL NOT OVERCOME."

What they mean is that they have not overcome the white man. I hope it is a black police officer that greases this piece of human shit.

St Pete Pandhandlers Flood Into Tampa - Are They Begging, Or 'Flying A Sign?'

 St. Petersburg, in my opinion, has illegally outlawed free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of expression, in short, civil liberties by banning guys from standing on street corners 'flying a sign.' This is a great country we live in.  At least it used to be. St. Pete does not think so. There is, however, a real danger to doing this.  Let me explain.

In this great country a person with ambition and skill can rise as far as his dreams will take him. But what if his dreams are not to be an astronaut or a CEO or a doctor, or whatever people think you should be. Hell, what if he wants to be A TAXI DRIVER. What if he just wants to 'hang out' and drink beer with his buddies and go no further than that.  In this country that should be his God given right. Sadly, people don't think so. 

The problem with banning anything is that you move just a little closer to the banning of political expressing, and that is where the danger lies. That is why we uphold the rights of Larry Flint and Joe Redner.  That's right - porn is free expression.  If you ban it someone will come along and say they find a cable channel or a political party to be objectionable. Do we ban this stuff as well? 

Hell, we live in a country now where you can't even go into a bar and light up a smoke....WTF?

So when you see the guy on the side of the road and you give him a couple of bucks, you better believe it will go to fast food, a cheap motel, a quart bottle of beer (several) and a pack of cigs.

In The Florida Jungle

Followers of this blog know that I like to hike in the remote areas of Central Florida and bring my video camera with me in case I encounter the Florida Skunkape or Bigfoot. I like the exercise and the fresh air. For over the last year it has been a hobby of mine.

It has been a good hobby. My YouTube Channel called fasanotampa has over 347 subscribers and a Blogger blog I started is getting steady traffic. However, it is getting difficult to try and make daily post for eight different blogs when Tampa Taxi Shots has been my longest running and most successful blog ever. I just need to consolidate and make this the Official Tim Fasano Blog or website. 

I don't know if you have a YouTube channel or not but you have to admit the flaming that goes on is beyond the pale. I have really lost my interest especially that someone has started a blog just to bash the videos I, and a few others, put up. Crazy if you ask me. 

Everyone has their own interest, and I have mine. This is a commercial site. Like I get paid to do this blog. I get a monthly check from advertisers and that pays for my blog. Simple, I got my reasons for this. 

We are going into the Memorial Day Weekend which is significant in Bigfoot History. Memorial day 1996 was the day of the famous bigfoot sighting in Washington State which was featured in the Hisotry Channel special Bigfoot Where Legend Meets Science with Dr. Jeff Meldrum.  Here this interview of him on Coast To Coast AM Radio.

Changes To Tampa Taxi Shots - Republican Convention 2012

There are some changes to the blog Tampa Taxi Shots.  

With the 2012 Republican Convention slated for downtown Tampa, I want visitors to come to my blog for information about hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, golf and so forth.  I do not want this site to look like a porn portal.  That is why I have taken down all of the girlie stuff I could find.  Plus, I just want to be known for something else.  

Do you think Sarah Palin will be the nominee in 2012?  Not sure about that.  I am sure I do like this photo of her.  Sorry, I could not resist one more time. I used to take a lot of girl photos but I have now gotten away from that.  The economy was a large part.  Things move on, however. 

I know its a couple of years away.  Gee, I hope the Gulf beaches are not covered with black sludge.  If so, I don't think you will hear her saying "drill baby drill."  Just a thought.

Happy Mothers Day to everyone.  My mother is no longer with us only in my heart.  I have started a new blog that is more in line with my interest.  It is called Intriguing Phenomena and it is about unsolved mysteries from the begining of mankind- Atalntis, bigfoot, Jack The Ripper, Loch Ness Monster, UFO, Zombies and so forth.  Just a diversion.  Why not.  The cab business is not so hot right now.  Check out the blog!

Tampa Taxi Shots Is Four Years Old!

I started this blog on November 4th, 2005.  It has now been four years.  Man, alot has happened in those four years.  I got off to a great start with much local notice.  Unfortunately, the last 2.5 years have been the Great Recession and, as a result,  even had a seven month period of internet service interruption because I could not pay the bill.  That really sucked. I am just waiting for things to get somewhat better so I can start living my live again. 

The last two years have broken my spirit.  I am sure that fact was reflected on my blog post.  That was never my intention.  I don't want this anymore than you.  I just want things to get back to the way they were.  Maybe in the Five year anniversary things will be better.

PUSHING ROPE GETS IT RIGHT.

The sardonic and clever blog Pushing Rope nailed this one.  The Joker represents the absence of law and control (Halliburton, Bush, Cheney).  Obama is the regulator of those that need to be regulated.  Billions of drones nationwide are showing up at these town-hall meetings and don't even know why.

Rays Bloggers

The Rays won again today against the Chicago White Sox.  The game, however, was not on TV.  I got the results off of the Rays Website and they had a link to a site that featured MLB blogs and this picture of the LA Dodger dugout.  Go fugure. 

The Dodgers may have been a force when Sandy Koufax pitched, but they will never win a World Series again...The Rays are now the dominate force in Baseball...Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

It probubly is a good idea that the games are not on TV.  This means that people, like myself, will have to go to the stadium to see the game.  Lets go!

AOL SUCKS

I have been off the Internet for days because AOL Customer Service said my modem was bad. They were wrong. First of all their customer service division is in something like Bombay India. No offense to those guys, but I could not understand the guy I was talking to. It sounded like the cab radio were I work. That really pisses me off. Send the jobs over seas to offer a inferior product.

I took my laptop to Best Buy. The Geek Squad took a look at it and said my modem was fine. Somehow I had instructed it to use Broadband and not dial up. I do like to fiddle with the functions and I must of screwed it up. The Geek Squad recommended high speed wireless then I could now do remote blogging from my cab. Now how cool is that. The cab man live!!!

By the end of the week I should be up and running with AT&T wireless and goodbye Bombay...Yeah!

Go To Hell To Hussey And Creative Loafing

During a question and answer session today with the audience at Columbia University, Ahmadinejad appeared agitated. In response to one question, Ahmadinejad denied he was questioning the existence of the Holocaust.

"Granted this happened, what does it have to do with the Palestian people?" he said.

BECAUSE THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE KILL JEWS!! THAT IS WHY DICK-HEAD.

People are probably wondering why my postings have slowed down lately, that is because I think I am in an unworkable situation.

Publications like THE Creative Loafing and Blogs like Pushing Rope praise and admire Ahmadinejad and want to hug him and give him warm gussies...even as he is putting them into the gas chambers.

I call for the annihilation of his ilk and the Blog Hussy compares me to Hitler and says I suffer from  xenophobia..." fear and hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign" ...NO I just have a respect for those that want to kill me. If they are strange or foreign that is their problem.

When Wayne Garcia wanted to go to press with an article about my blog, he emailed me, sent me his phone number and talked to me BEFORE he went to press. Mr. Hussy just went off and used pejoratives about me but not his asshole buddy Ahmadinejad.

Now he wins an award from THE Creative Loafing which will never run a negative article about Ahmadinejad (Hussy's love partner). They even mention my blog as they give him the award as if it was some Goddamn big deal to call out a CAB DRIVER!

This is the best this area has. How sad. Have you ever read Chicago or L.A. blogs. Man o man. 

I am sure Wayne had nothing to do with that fucked up decision. It was probably the "Towel Head Hot-tie" that tries to set us "white boys" straight each week about how fucked up the west is and how great camel Jockeys are.

Jamaica May Be Facing A Real Tragedy

Jamaica may be facing a real tragedy similar to what the United States experienced with in New Orleans. I have the Nationwide Public Radio of Jamaica and the lady is praying "I look up to the hills and what do I see, who will protect me in my hour of need but my Lord Jesus Christ..."

The NPR radio can be listened to on several frequencies. they say they will be up for the entirety of the storm.

CNN is not reporting this but NPR says that all the power is now off in Kingston. The winds are beginning to ravage the coastline and the rivers are rising and flooding is now beginning.

Terri Nichols updates from Jamaica:

The beginning of the effects of Dean are becoming obvious. The wind has picked up, you can already hear it. Visibility has decreased over the ocean and seas are swelling with 4-6 ft waves hitting the coast of Stewart town.Temperature is still very warm. Rain is light, but ominous black clouds are in the distance. We have moved everything downstairs to an area that has a concrete ceiling and are prepared to move down and ride this “guy” out . We still have power but do not expect to have it last much longer. You could still hear hammering up and down the road, we pray everyone is battened down as there is not much more time.

What really bothers me is the websites for the Weather Channel and Accuweather have no radar coverage of Jamaica. I found it on the Cuban Weather site Institudo De Meterologia De La Republica De Cuba. Check it out to see what the United States Web sites cannot show you for some reason.

Jamaican Blogger To Get Hurricane Dean

The MAD BULL BLOG Is considered by many on-line reviewers to be the "COOLIST" blog on the planet. His post are always easy to read, he has a flare for the language, and he is very insightful.

Unfortunately, this Kingston Jamaican blogger is in the path of a Category 5 Hurricane.

He has battened down the hatch and has canned goods(here is a photo of rum and coke in a can) to get him thru this ordeal. What he may not know is that his power is going to be off for a long time.

Lincoln Robinson of the Jamaican Prime Minister office said that in 1988 after Hurricane Gregory, his power was off for five months and they were dependent on International help. Lets hope it does not come down to that.

He was just on FOX News and said the two main airports in Jamaica are now closed!

I have been reading this guys blog since he was on Tripod, and he keeps coming up with funky ass chit all the time. He also includes a lot of hot Jamaican beauty contest winners and models. DAS AHL RIGHT MAN.

I took a Cayman Island couple to Tampa International airport today and they were on there way back to their home on Cayman Airways. For some reason they said their home was solid concrete and would stand up to any storm. Well, not exactly. Lets just wish them well.

At this moment this is the projected path. It is not carved in stone so anyone is vulnerable at this point.

If you ask me, it looks like the eye of this storm is making a more NW turn. I think it will find its way into the Gulf Of Mexico and perhaps affect Florida in some way.

That is just what I am seeing on the Weather Channer.

Tony Soprano And Blogging

I got an email from someone who said that I need to "Do less blogging and threatening" and more "Listening and reading." He was concerned for my mental health. I seem to have hit a nerve when I suggested that he had dragged his heals in the burial of his sister. He makes the mistake of thinking that nobody is interested in this. Let me explain something to you.

PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN WHAT I AM INTERESTED IN. It is as simple as that. No blog can survive by only regurgitating the daily news. People come to my blog because they want to know what I am thinking about...not George Bush. And I get a lot of traffic. The only reason you respond is because you do not get over 1,000 people a day listening to you. I know you have Dark wolf who I hope does not deliver pizza for a living anymore or watch the bug being saved in the pool, and had no idea how to get out of Ft. Myers until he heard of Greyhound bus. You know , the guy Juli said was the worst date she ever had (remember the pretzel at the USF game. Damn, I must of been there). Or Clay (fag), Or PF Whitehead(pussy). Or the rest of the computer nerds on your list(none of them getting 1,000 a day on anything or taking nude photos for sport like I do) who never got laid.

Oh, don't believe everything you read(you did mention reading) knowing my intolerance for harlots, don't get to caught up in details.

You have no ratings I do. What do you fear? Just remember nobody ever won every bet they ever took. Just know if you want to take me on....lets get it on. But why bother...its just show biz baby....Just spell my name correctly. And keep the hits coming!!!

Bloggers to Decide 2008 Election?

I like this guy. Unlike Obama and Hillary (who are doing their best minstrel impressions in black churches) this guy is real. He will sit down with Bloggers and actually talk about the issues. If he tried to Bullshit these guys who are not after TV ratings, they would expose him to the whole world. Instead, he won their respect. During the past 48 hours positive reaction to Governor Bill Richardson’s meeting with bloggers has been building and spreading across the Internet. Bloggers have been calling Governor Richardson “Presidential” and The National Journal’s online political site “The Hot-line on Call” calculated that Governor Richardson’s speech in Iowa was punctuated by seven standing ovations from the audience, more than any other candidate who spoke at the event.

You can run but you cannot hide. Only Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Bill Richardson would have the guts to sit down with bloggers. I really believe that politicians in the future will have to deal with us if a real groundswell is going to happen.

Weird Weather, Blogs In The Media, And a Cheaten' Heart

Larry once sent me an email with weird weather photos. What I saw this morning in Tampa ranks up there. Look at this. Do fronts move in with such a clear demarcation? This was taken with a cell phone camera. I wish I had a different camera with me. This really looks strange to me. This cloud formation was moving over downtown Tampa. You can see the building in the background.

TBO.com did an article about the local Blogger meeting at Hawks bar in grill last week. That was really cool. Tommy Duncan left a comment on my blog about it and Sarah In Tampa left a comment expressing her regret at not attending. Don't worry Sarah, there are several more scheduled. You can find the schedule on Sticks of fire. What I really hope is the Tampa Tribune will print the article in tomorrows paper. Then we will be back on the map again.

On a personal note, it seems my girl friend has vanished again. If you read this blog you know that she will go away for years at a time. I call; I go by: I leave notes in the door that are still there days later. I don't know where she is at. I don't mean to violate her privacy but considering what she has put me thru, this is nothing. She has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder. I used to think that this meant going from a bad mood to a good mood. Not exactly. It is more like going from periods of rationality to irrationality with delusions of grandeur and paranoia. Did you know that she was once engaged to JFK Jr. According to her the family sabotaged the plane to keep them apart. This is something she has not reveled to the psychiatrist. She is not medicated. That is common with this disorder. What happens is they experience the Seduction Of Mania that is when they feel so good they would rather feel manic instead of taking their meds!!! Why not? If you could not sleep for days, cum all night and have more energy that 20 people combined, why would you not want to feel that way? In all cases of nymphomania the women suffer from Bi-Polar Disorder. Nowadays they call it "Hyper-sexuality" Juli went to a bar last week and never returned. I believe she "pulled" a dude out of the bar and went home with him to screw his brains loose. That sucks. I just wish I could move on and find someone that will treat me with a little more respect. I don't think I have it in me anymore.

Sorry I wont be at the blooger meeting tonight. I will be very drunk and not much in the mood.
