So to hear things are slow again. About the 260 cabs, same story, the owners don't give a damn, have never cared as long as they get their lease money. Hope things improve 157 Larry

This is the nightmare scenario coming true. This is what the powers that be say could never happen, but it is just the beginning. For the next couple of years, things are going to get really fucking scary.

The unrest in the Middle East is just the start of what can be expected through out the world going into the future. Egypt will fall, no doubt, and god only knows what’s going to happen over there. If the riots spread into Europe, it’s going to get really scary. Greece, Spain, Iceland, and Ireland are worthless; their ecomonies are bankrupt. Bush I, committed America to a thing called the New World Order, remember that? That means we are now totally committed to a united world economy. Someone farts, we got to put up with the stink. So far, trillions of dollars have been used to attempt some kind of stability into the world economic machine. (to give you an idea the magnitude of a trillion: if you were to attempt to count one trillion seconds, it would take you 32,000 years!) The planners of the New Order forgot one little thing: American business is based on greed. The economic fall, greed and thievery by the big banks, which started in 2007, has crept into every country. Every community in every country world wide is affected by toxic debt caused by big banks' predatory lending. Strange, they are the only ones making a profit at the present time. Just about every city in America is sinking in debt. No one has a clue how to stop the debt from worsening, it’s like watching someone dying of cancer. The city of Tampa and Hillsborough county laid of hundreds if not thousands of workers. Yet, the debt keeps growing. Just one small example, right now fifty million plus homes sit idle; millions more are in some stage of foreclosure. You’d be crazy to buy a home at this time. Property is valueless. And you wonder why no one is getting into your taxi! Become a minimalist, and you’ll do just fine.
