Governor Crist, the citizens of Hillsborough County are a little bit unsafe tonight. It seems that Sheriff David Gee has allowed someone to get away with murder. He has charged the suspect with manslaughter, which is a lesser offense, only on political correctness issues.
The perpetrator is black and the victim is white (sounds like a hate crime to me). It took his office two days (after letting the man go home and go back to work before they did anything) for them to react only after much public outcry.
I'm sure you remember when Polk County sheriff Dan Daniels in 1987 (pictured) was on the verge of being removed by Governor Bob Martinez before Daniels resigned. His office was plagued with scandal, so there is a precedent for removing a sheriff by the Governor.
I hope you will look into this matter and understand how many people in Florida are for law and order *wink* You know what I mean with November being around the corner. They did not call you "chain gang Charlie" for nothing.
