Bring Back Summer!

This is the slowest winter season I have seen in 15 years in the taxi business. In some ways it is even slower than summer time. During the summer, late night party people come out. Now, because of the cold, many of them are staying home. The only 'tourist' call I had this morning was a 'no show.' The Tampa Bay area is just empty. I have forgoten what the beach looked like.

Yes I can see it as difficult to put anything away for a runny considering that said day is already here. Everyone I have talked to seem to think that it is going to get worse. Of course all of the Obama followers blame Bush, never mind what Obama said he was going to do. If I hadn't of gotten sick I would be out there with you. Is Nancy ever considered raising the meter. The canadians that normally come here for their 5 month stay are not here this year because they all are at the winter olympics as well as others.Also last year keep in mind the events that were going on:Super Bowl,SEC Basketball,Convention Center Events,etc...Not happening this year.Money is tight and people are staying home.The convention business is way down.Pray for a good spring training and then after that look for something else to do.. April thru September will be worse!
