SICK AS A DOG

I have been sick for days.  I have not been able to do much.  My lungs are inflamed and all I can do is cough.  I need to get better while I struggle to pay the lease on my taxi.  They don't care if you're sick, all they want is their money.  We should get some kind of sicktime.  Right.

Unfortunately being an IC means it's your biz. Like any small biz owner, vacation, sick days etc.. is all on their(your) dime & biz expenses do not disappear or are put on hold.
